EXERCISE 1 : Translate into Swahili :

1. Watu hawa hawana ng'ombe wala mbuzi.
2. Amekuja jana lakini ameshakwenda.
3. Mtoto analia kwa sababu amepotea.
4. Ijapo chakula hiki ni kitamu, mtoto hakikula.
5. Anafanya haraka ili afike kwanza.
6. Sina fedha, kwa hiyo siwezi kununua kitu.
7. Anasema kwamba atarudi kesho.
8. hujui kwamba babu yako yumo hospitali ?
9. Unafanya kazi kama punda.
10. Tumefika skuli kwa miguu.

EXERCISE 2 : Translate into English :

1. This word is not true, on the contrary it's a lie.
2. He cries because his mother is sick.
3. I need new shoes but I have no money.
4. The teacher says he will be a little late.
5. I go to the market early, in order to get meat.
6. Bring coffee or tea.
7. I eat food before going to work.
8. He rests after coming back home.
9. The children have eaten rice with sauce.
10. We are going to Iringa by bus.
