EXERCISE 1 : Translate into Swahili :
Mimi huenda, yeye hufika, sisi hupumzika, yeye huanza, wewe hula, yeye hufikiri, yeye husema, ninyi hupenda, wao hufa, yeye huenda, sisi hufurahi, yeye hulia, wewe hujibu, yeye hunywa, wao hukamata, mimi huhitaji, yeye huondoka, sisi husubiri, yeye hufunga, wewe hurudi.
EXERCISE 2 : Translate into English :
- Eggs can be got here every Monday.
- The door of the school is opened at seven o'clock.
- Clothes are washed every two days.
- A motorbike needs petrol and oil.
- People rest on Sunday.
- This farmer gets good harvests.
- The bus leaves the station at half past two.
- Riddle : If old Kombe cries, people rejoice. (the rain).
- Riddle : The little woman makes a good local beer. (the bee).
- Riddle : It eats but it is not satiated. (a serynge).
